Empanelment of Consultants/Architects - Repairs/Rehabilitation/Painting, Structural, Civil, Office interiors, Landscaping/Gardening, Electrical, Air-Conditioning, Sewerage systems

The Reserve Bank of India proposes to prepare a panel of Consultants/Architects for its various projects in respect of Office and Residential complex at CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai. In this document, the term Consultant would mean a person, firm or company whose primary activity and field of specialization is architecture/engineering. Panels are proposed to be prepared under the following categories:

Repairs/Rehabilitation/Painting works

Structural works

Civil works

Office Interior / furnishing works

Landscaping / Gardening works

Electrical works

Air-conditioning works

While a project each has already been identified for categories 1 and 5 above and is expected to be taken up in the immediate future, projects in the remaining categories will be undertaken as and when required.

2. Eligibility Criteria for issue of application form

Repairs/Rehabilitation/Painting works

1. Should be a firm of practicing Architects / Engineers having its registered Office in or around Mumbai, having a minimum of 5 technical staff of whom at least 3 should be with graduate or above qualifications in the field of Architecture / Engineering from a UGC recognized Indian or foreign University.

2. Should have completed, within last 5 years, from planning to execution and supervision at least three completed works involving repairs and repainting of residential buildings costing between Rs.25 Lacs to Rs.40 Lacs each

Should have completed, within last 5 years, from planning to execution and supervision at least two completed works each involving repairs and repainting of residential buildings costing between Rs. 40 Lacs to Rs.50 Lacs each

Should have completed, within last 5 years, from planning to execution and supervision at least one completed works each involving repairs and repainting of residential buildings costing between Rs.50 Lacs to Rs.80 Lacs.

1. The works should have been carried out for a Government /Semi-Government Organization or a Government of India Undertaking etc. In case of works done for a Public Ltd. / Private company proof of work done will have to be supported satisfactorily by production of original tax-deducted-at-source documents.

All other categories

1. Should be a practicing Architect / Engineer having an Office in or around Mumbai, with graduate or above qualifications in the field of Architecture / Engineering from a UGC recognized Indian or foreign University.

2. Should have completed minimum of three works, each costing at least Rs.20 Lacs, classifiable under the category under which empanelment is sought, within last 5 years.

The works should have been carried out for a Government /Semi-Government Organiza-tion or a Government of India Undertaking etc. In case of works done for a Public Ltd. / Private company proof of work done will have to be supported satisfactorily by production of original tax-deducted-at-source documents.

Should be willing to take up works costing up to Rs.10 Lacs each

3. Selection Process : Selection for empanelment will be based on the applicants :

Expertise in the type of project proposed;
Previous experience and track record;
Time, cost and quality performance on previous projects;
Qualification, experience and availability of key personnel and;
Applicant’s own infrastructure.

4. Scale of fees: Will be determined through a competitive bidding process among empanelled consultants on project-to-project basis. However, for projects costing up to Rs.10 Lacs the applicants should be willing to work at fee structure mentioned below:

5. Application Forms: Application forms can be had from Shri S. Trivedi, Asst. General Manager, Estate Cell, Reserve Bank of India, HH Nirmaladevi Marg, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai on working days during office hours on or before 2.00 p.m. on 12^th July 2003 after furnishing documentary evidence for fulfilling the qualifications mentioned in the detailed advertisement and shall be submitted in a sealed cover, duly furnishing all the required information addressed to Shri R.M. Deole, Chief General Manager-in-Charge, Reserve Bank of India, HH Nirmaladevi Marg, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai so as to reach his office on or before 2.00 p.m. on 15^th July 2003.

The mere issue of an application form to a firm/person/party will not automatically endorse his eligibility for empanelment. The Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the applications without assigning any reasons therefor.
