The Reserve Bank of India invites tenders for replacement of the Central A.C.Plant in their Central Office Building at Mumbai. The estimated cost of the work is Rs.160 lakh and is to be completed in 26 weeks.

Only those contractors (a) with at least 3 years experience in Air-conditioning works (b) having executed at least two works with centrifugal/screw chiller packages individually costing not less than Rs.150 lakhs during last 5 years and (c) having a service set up of their own at Mumbai, are eligible to tender.

Tenter forms will be issued from 3rd July 2003 to 16th July 2003 from the Office of the Chief General manager, Reserve Bank of India, Premises Department, Central Office, COBM Cell, Mumbai 400 001 on payment of Rs.500/- per set in cash (which amount is not refundable), only to those who furnish written proof of eligibility (copies of work orders and completion reports to be attached along with request application). Tenders in prescribed forms, in duplicate, along with EMD of Rs.3,20,000/-, superscribing "Tender for replacement of Central A.C. Plant for Central Office Building" on sealed envelope and addressed by name to Shri E.U.Khan, Chief General Manager, Reserve Bank of India, Premises Department, Central Office, Mumbai 400 001 will be received upto 2.00 p.m. on 22nd July 2003 and will be opened on the same day at 3.00 p.m. in the presence of the authorised representative of the tenders who choose to be present. The Bank is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender.
