In continuation to earlier minutes of the pre-bid meeting uploaded in RBI & MSTC portal on July 27, 2022, the following queries were again raised by one of the participants vide e-mail and our clarifications are as under

01	In the specification (Sec VII, 11. Products-11.01 & 11.02) it is mentioned “Hall Lanterns / direction indicator with volume adjustable electronic chime for each lift’’ and firm have mentioned that being Simplex lift, hall Lanterns is not required and only direction indicator will be provided	For the specification mentioned as “Hall Lanterns/ direction indicator”, it is meant that either Hall Lanterns or direction indicator is to be provided.
02	Firm required more clarity on the specification (Sec VII, 11. Products-11.01 & 11.02) mentioning about “Car Reservations Services with parking”	Auto/ attendant mode key switch will be used for car reservation service.
03	Regarding specification (Sec VII, 11. Products-11.01 & 11.02) mentioning provision of “OS Proximity Limit switches” the firm informed that such switch is not available.	Specification to be read as providing “Limit switches” only as per OEM standards.
04	Specification (Sec VII, 11. Products-11.01 & 11.02) mentioning “Self-dialing three-way communication system actuated by pressing alarm button”. The firm have informed that two-way intercommunication system shall be provided by actuating its respective button and not on alarm button.	The request has been acceded to.
05	Specification (Sec VII, 11. Products-11.01 & 11.02) mentioning provision of “Traction steel wire belt type to suit machine manufacturer’s requirements”. However, the firm informed that Traction steel wire ropes will be provided.	The technical specification is modified to be read as “Traction steel wire belt or ropes to be provided as per OEM specification”.
06	Specification (Sec VII, 11. Products-11.01 & 11.02) is mentioning of providing “Flame and moisture resistant outer cover to prevent travelling cable from rubbing or chafing against lift well or equipment within lift well”. However, firm informed that FRLS travelling cable will be provided.	The request has been acceded to.
07	Specification (Sec VII, 11. Products-11.01 & 11.02) mentioning making provision for connecting to suitable traffic management software. The firm informed that Potential free contacts shall be provided.	The request has been acceded to.
08	The specification is mentioning that “it should be possible to provide an elevator management system to monitor the performance of the lift”. Contractor informed that Potential free contacts will be provided.	The request has been acceded to.
