Expression of Interest
Reserve Bank of India invites Expression of Interest from vendors manufacturing
- Coin Counting and Packing machines
- Coin Counting / Sorting and Packing machines of different sizes either fully automatic or semi automatic with capability to count and sort denomination-wise all Indian Coins and pack them denomination-wise into sachets and bags.
Minimum system requirements are as under:
- the system to handle all designs of current Indian coins of 5 paise, 10 paise, 20 paise, 25 paise, 50 paise, 1 rupee, 2 rupee and 5 rupee.
- the system should have a packing unit capable of packing 100 coins in environmentally friendly plastic sachets, available locally.
- the system should have a packing unit capable of packing 20-25 plastic sachets in a jute or plastic bag.
- the system should be capable of being configured to take care of changes in the design of existing coins as also new denomination coins to be introduced.
- the systems should have a PC based reporting system with both hardware and software included.
The Expression of Interest complete in all respect including company profile, complete technical details of the machine, number of such machines already supplied with details of locations / addresses and duly sealed and super scribed "Expression of interest to supply Coin Counting / Sorting Systems" and addressed to Shri V.R.Gaikwad, Chief General Manager, Reserve Bank of India, Department of Currency Management, 21st floor, Central Office, Shahid Bhagat Singh Marg, Mumbai - 400 001 should be sent by hand delivery / post / courier at the same address so as to reach by 2.00 p.m. on or before October 15, 2003.
