Original equipment manufacturers having excellent after sale service facilities at Chennai and minimum of seven years of experience in installing lifts in groups and having executed minimum of two works in the last three years individually costing around Rs 30.00 lakhs need tender for the work.

Tender forms will be issued from 26th February 2002 to 6th March 2002 from the office of the Deputy General Manager (Tech), Project Management Cell(SZ), Kuralagam Building (III Floor), Esplanade, Chennai-600108 on payment of Rs. 500/- per set which amount is not refundable under any circumstances. The tender forms will be issued only to those who furnish written information about the names and addresses of their bankers and clients with the names of work, year of execution, cost and the authority under whom it was executed along with their correct postal addresses and also documentary evidence of their experience. Tenders in prescribed forms, in duplicate along with EMD of Rs 22,500/- superscribing "Supply and installation of Electrical Lift at Bank's Main Office Building, Chennai" in sealed envelope and addressed by name to Shri K. Sivaraman, Regional Director for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry, Reserve Bank of India, Chennai-600 001 will be received by the Deputy General Manager (Tech) at the above mentioned address upto 12.00 Noon on 21st March 2002 and Part I of the tender will be opened on the same day or the next working day, in the presence of the authorised representative of the tenderers, who choose to be present.
