Tender Notice

Sealed Tenders are invited for supply and erection of false ceiling and Under-deck-insulation in the RBI Office Building under construction at Gomtinagar, Lucknow-226 010, estimated to cost Rs.35,00,000=00 (Rupees thirty five lakh only) and to be completed within 6 months.

Only contractors having about 5 years of experience in undertaking similar nature of work, and having executed two or more similar type of works individually costing not less than Rs.10.00 lakh during last 3 years need tender for the work. It may further be noted that the annual turn over of the applicants should be at least Rs.20.00 lakh.

Tender forms will be issued from January 19, 2004 to 31, 2004 from the office of the Chief General Manager, Premises Section (Project Cell), Reserve Bank Of India, 5th Floor, Sahakari Kisan Bhawan, 2 - M G Marg, Lucknow - 226001 on payment of Rs.200.00 (Rupees Two Hundred Only) per set which amount is not refundable under any circumstances.

The tender forms will be issued only to those who furnish written information about the names and addresses of their bankers and clients with the names of the work, year of execution, cost and the authority under whom it was executed along with their correct postal addresses, telephone / fax numbers / contact person and also documentary evidence of their experience. They should also obtain and submit a certificate from their bankers stating that they would be able to mobilise funds for a work of the value of Rs.35.00 lakh to be completed within the prescribed completion period of 6 months. Tenders in prescribed forms in duplicate along with Earnest Money Deposit of Rs.70,000.00 (Rupees seventy thousand only) super scribing the name of the work on sealed envelop and addressed by name to Shri S.C. Agrawal, Chief General Manager will be received by the Bank up to 14 hrs. on 05-02-2004.

Tenderers are requested to submit their offer in two parts, Part I containing only covering letter, clarification, technical and commercial conditions if any and prescribed Earnest Money Deposit & Part II containing only the Tender along with schedule of quantities in a separate sealed cover.

Part-1 will be opened at 3 pm on the same day or on the next working day in the presence of authorized representative of the tenderers who choose to be present.

The Bank is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender without assigning reason therefore.
